Winter trial 10/11/24
Our first Romney Marsh winter series trial for 2024/25 bought a lot of joy and some emotional times for some, with the unveiling of our Dave Thompson memorial crook for the handlers post. We also had a presentation of the Dave Thompson Lydden Court Farm memorial cup, by Trevor Head, Lydden Court Farm, to Jill Bastable for the “best pen” at our Lydden trial.
A busy day with 31 runs, making a long day for all, but with new faces on the trial field, this is what we like to see! Many thanks to our letter outters, course director Noel and to our judge.
Also just a reminder of etiquette on the trial field, and to be mindful and respectful of other handlers, and to be in control of your dog at all times.
